Steve Hosein, B.Sc., MBA, Principal Consultant
Steve has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience covering western Canada for billion-dollar, multinational companies like Thermofisher Scientific, Perkin Elmer, Varian Scientific, and Applied Biosystems. His extensive experience is enhanced by a MBA (strategic management / marketing) from UBC's Sauder School of Business and a Bachelor of Science (biochemistry) from Simon Fraser University.
Just prior to starting Align Forward, Steve was the sales and marketing manager for a small, specialty laboratory that offered services world-wide to the pulp & paper industry.
In addition to his work in North America, Steve has taught entrepreneurship in Kenya. He visited the Mathare slum in Nairobi three times, advising a variety of young entrepreneurs, teaching them how to write a business plan, and helping them to start, or improve, their business. Following that, Steve volunteered as a consultant through the Grow Movement (UK), mentoring for 6 months - via phone and internet - an entrepreneur in Uganda who had a retail electronics store.
